Welcome to 2013 and the ever evolving ScilabServices website. I have decided to move the entire site offshore to a third party server which will allow me to update the content easier and therefore a lot quicker. Well that's also a great excuse to rewrite the entire site and include more relevant content for 2013 so that's exactly what I'm doing now. So be patient while I dust off the old grey matter the lays pretty much idle between the ears nowadays. With all the apps and plug-in available for the web nowadays I'm going to take advantage of all that stuff and include that into the site. I am also including very relevant pages into the new site that will reflect my year in a pictorial way. Still photograph and video presentations will be used but due to the nature and contractual stuff some of these pages will be restricted via a userid and password. If you require access to these sites all you need to do is email me, the webmaster and tell me why you require access, it's that simple. If your allowed or relevant in regard to access to these pages then I'll send you the relevant information and passwords to move forward.
2012 has proven to be a very interesting and busy year for me personally. I was on the road for a lot of the year and visited lots of very interesting countries and met some equally interesting people on my travels. The old kodak travelled with me again this year, as a result I have literally thousands of pictures to load on here, that in itself will keep me busy. Thousands of pictures are going to be uploaded onto my site, some work related and lots of people and places visited on vacation. The problem is most of the pictures will require colour proofing, re-sizing and running the ugly removing filter over some of the more interesting characters and workmates I have taken over the year. So my advise is to keep an eye on the picture and video galleries in coming weeks and maybe even bookmarking the site for regular visits. If on the other hand you are one of my work lads who would like to contribute pictures, videos or stories to the NEW RiggerNew page then contact me either via voice or e-mail and I'll be happy to include it.
2012 is a year to remember for me, I lost friends and family which hurt. I gave my daughter away and gained a son-in-law which was a real highlight. I welcomed my other daughter and her boyfriend home from Canada after a year away and my son made a career change after many years in the hospitality industry. 2013 will hopefully bring many exciting times and more work for me, I hope...
